Based on customer reviews, Wendell Barber Shop is a timeless institution established in 1903. It offers a true barber shop feel with great southern charm and a warm atmosphere that feels like home. The staff, including Lee, JR, and Cindy, are wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and really good at what they do. They are great with kids, with Lee being very patient with a busy 2-year-old and Cindy even cutting a daughter's hair. Customers have been going there for over a year, three years, or four years, always leaving happy with a clean cut. Lee is super consistent, understands how customers want their hair even when it is hard to explain, really listens, and gives solid advice. The shop vibe is chill with good conversations and a good community where people are happy. The price is great, and customers highly recommend it to anyone looking for a haircut. It is considered the best barbers around the triangle area and Wendell.
Great barbershop-- classic old school atmosphere. First time customer and now this is my regular 💈 barbershop ! Make sure to leave a good tip-- service like this Is hard to find.
Been going here for a little over 3 years and every time I leave happy with the cut. True barber shop feel and good people. Lee’s kept it true to the small town barber shop I started going to back in 2022.
This is the only barber shop we go too! The whole staff are wonderful and are so great with my kids. Lee is so patient and does a great job with my busy 2 year old and JR and Cindy are great as well! Cindy even cuts my daughter's hair and she had a great experience with her.
