Based on customer reviews, Wendell Barber Shop is a timeless institution established in 1903. It offers a true barber shop feel with great southern charm and a warm atmosphere that feels like home. The staff, including Lee, JR, and Cindy, are wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and really good at what they do. They are great with kids, with Lee being very patient with a busy 2-year-old and Cindy even cutting a daughter's hair. Customers have been going there for over a year, three years, or four years, always leaving happy with a clean cut. Lee is super consistent, understands how customers want their hair even when it is hard to explain, really listens, and gives solid advice. The shop vibe is chill with good conversations and a good community where people are happy. The price is great, and customers highly recommend it to anyone looking for a haircut. It is considered the best barbers around the triangle area and Wendell.

I look forward to a cut and a shave with JR every month. I love everything about this place especially Lee, JR, and Cindy. Always consistent and a great place to escape for a bit.
Wendell Barber Shop is a great hometown barber shop. Lee, JR, and Cindy are super nice and accommodating. You can get any type of cut you are looking for. It is hard to find barbers that can still do a flat top, but Lee and JR can get r' dun. Give them a try you will not regret it.
