While visiting friends in Asheville we were all 4 doing some shopping at local artists. Stumbled across Q ar a stop. She makes and sells jewelry, awesome jewelry i might say. She has a great personality and a great little vacation spot near her home.

Over the years I have bought four pairs of earrings from Q. They have become my go-tos. Wearing them gives me a lift because I love the designs and because they do attract compliments. I think that they are so attractive because of the way light strikes the stones (even the opaque rubies and emeralds), because of their quality, and because of the way they are faceted. A friend of mine is able to buy the more expensive items. Her ruby necklace softly glows on her neck as though it were a part of her. Lovely.Let me add that most of Q's pieces lend themselves to formal wear as well as to jeans. At least the earrings do, which is all that I have so far!purchased...so far!
