We love Balsam Animal Hospital. We recently had to put down our 17 year old poodle. Dr. Kern and all his staff were so very compassionate. Our current dog, Charlotte, always receives top notch care.

I could not speak more highly of Dr.Kern and his staff. If you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend Balsam Animal Hospital. They have gone above and beyond for our dog, multiple times. They saved our youngest dogs life with emergency bowel surgery, when the emergency vet gave us an absolutely outrageous quote. The staff stayed over their routine work hours to make the surgery happen for us, and kept us in the loop the whole time. Fisher would not be here without them! They care about the animals, and want to provide families with affordable, and quality care. My dog needed some treatment for an illness and I called to get an appointment in and they squeezed me in. I waited a little bit but it’s rather expected. The kindness the staff showed to me and my dog was touching. The doctor showed so much care for my dog and didn’t try to throw in any other diagnosis. I decided that day that Balsam will be her vet from now on. Even recommended them to my sister. I’ll be back for her updated vaccinations.
