We had to say goodbye to our beloved 13 year old Yorkie recently. Everyone at Pamlico Animal Hospital was extremely compassionate and supportive. The man who answered the phone when I called was very kind and patient. Also, the doctor and assistant who had to put our sweet boy to sleep were very compassionate. I am very grateful for the way they handled the situation.

I’ve been coming here for over 4 years now. There are new employees and the prices have gone up. The vet techs are always friendly and caring with my fur babies. The Dr’s are knowledgeable and listen to you. I like this office and trust they know what they’re doing.

We took our severely matted long haired kitty to get groomed. It was his first time and whoever pampered him was amazing. He looks so handsome and they even gave him a Christmas bowtie! Courtesy nail trim and ear cleaning were included. We couldn't be happier and Marshmellow is feeling very grateful and sassy. Thanks so much- highly recommend. ( and price was much less than other groomers).

Regularly receive spay/neuter and other services for foster cats. This practice is also very responsive to our TNVR efforts.

If I could give zero stars I would. Had 2 kittens one spayed one neutured, the guy who was giving them to us at pickup threw and I mean literally threw not tossed the kittens who just went through surgery into the kennels on top of trying to keep the kennel I brought from home. On top of them adding on extra charges, I also had a daschund get spayed and they gave her all her shots and we brought her home she fell very sick hardly breathing no moving we rushed her back to find the vet telling us they gave her a shot that they knew the breed was allergic to. Then we took our very sick bloodhound in a month ago for the emergency urgent care and waited 3 hours to even be seen and tended to. If you even so much care about your animals and mental and emotional health do not seek quality service here. They have very poor attitudes and very poor accountability for their prices being added on without notice or communication. Do not recommend. I will seek care elsewhere.

Very happy with our experience at PAH. Today was the first time having to bring our cat in for an urgent appointment. They were full already, but listened to the problem over the phone and were able to squeeze us in. They helped us quickly, everyone was helpful and friendly, and it didn't completely break the bank. Thank you!
