MY GOODNESS, I cannot express how AWESOME this experience was. Damaris and her staff were super knowledgeable, super friendly, super professional...I just have no words to how great they were. They made me feel comfortable and at ease and that I could TRUST them with my finances. They made me feel like they 100% had my best interests at heart and they did. This was my first year with them, and I absolutely will be with them going forward, they were that good. Trust is an important thing with me and they established that right away. I went somewhere else last year and it was an absolute bloodbath, I left that place feeling sick and like that preparer had not done their job correctly, and had not looked out for my best interests. The staff at NY Income Tax Specialists were very personable and responsive. I had issues with gaining access to the client portal but while the support team worked on trouble shooting the office admin stayed in touch with me to keep me updated and even uploaded my documents for me. Damaris was extremely thorough in getting the maximum amount possible on my tax return. She covered every detail and even took time to pause and explain / walk me through every deduction. I will definitely return to have Damaris do my taxes again next year!
