Two of my children and my husband are students at Innovative Martial Arts. Our 12 and 13-year-olds take Kenpo Karate and my husband takes Aikido. Our whole family is thrilled with their lessons and what they have learned. They are challenged in class, but do not leave discouraged. In fact, it is just the opposite. Even though they are learning hard moves, they feel encouraged and eager to grow in their disciplines. The environment is welcoming and does not foster high pressure; rather, it develops proper technique and good habits from the start. Belts and stripes are earned, not handed out without preparation. My son has been with IMAA for 5 years and he has learned so much and had a lot of fun. We would highly recommend this martial arts academy to any one looking to not only learn a lifelong skill but also to help develop respect, confidence, and discipline.
If you’re looking for an inviting martial arts studio, Innovative Martial Arts Academy is your place. My son joined 5 years ago at the age of 11, he’s now 16 and enjoys it just as much as day one. It truly has been life changing for him. The skills and friendships he’s developed will be lifelong. Excellent supportive instructors that build confidence and teach respect.
