Absolutely the best place if you want to find straight Lumber. I've been buying from Bowers for 25 years. Peewee and Daniel is absolutely the best most intelligent two people you will ever see. All of the guys that work out in the yard are wonderful. You don't have to look for straight Lumber they do it for you. When you pull in there Lumber yard you look at it like oh my god what the hell is this place, don't let that fool you. Great place, if I could give them a 10+ I would. If you are looking for a good, local lumber yard with a good selection, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and a small town feeling, then Bowers lumber is the place. Wood, nails, screws, saw blades, you name it. And only 1 aisle in the storefront! The wood is straight too?

Excellent place for lumber and drywall. I buy lumber and drywall and miscellaneous hand tools for work. I have bought a lot of lumber for me personally also and 1/2" exposure 1 sheathing was half the price of the big box store. The staff are very friendly and helpful also. I will gladly give mine and my company's money to them over the big box stores any day.
