my wife and i were ready to get our covid vaccines and decided to go the the alaxander county health dept. we were a little nervous but the nurse there explained everything to us and answered all our questions. she was very good at her job because we did not even feel the shot at all ! they allowed us the option to choose between pfizer or moderna which was nice that we had a choice.im very glad we got vaccinated and look forward to going back for our second dose.we are very happy we went to the heath dept.very clean, professional and friendly staff, if you are thinking of getting vaccinated in alaxander county i would highly recommend them based on our experience. update,...read full review

My 83 year old father waited in line 4 hours in Wilkes County for their covid vaccine clinic only to be turned away. I filled out info online and quickly received call back to schedule him an appt to get the vaccine. April was the one who booked his appt. She was very friendly, compassionate and professional. He had appt 2 days after booking and arrived early expecting to wait. Alexander Health Dept had him in amd out within 20 minutes. The staff were friendly, cheerful and again very professional. Kuddos to you all for handling the task of administering this vaccine proficiently and professionally. I can't say enough or thank you all enough for the care and compassion...read full review

They offered me several appointment times for the next day.I showed up Wednesday at 2:15. They met me at the door and checked me in. The waiting area was very well organized; all wore masks and seating...read full review
