I have a golden doodle and a lab mix that I have always taken to the big pet stores for grooming. When I moved to hickory a year ago I had no luck getting an appointment anywhere. I ended up trying to give my dogs haircuts and baths myself until I found A-1. I called in January and they got me an appointment for the following week. Since then, my dogs have seen Star monthly. She takes such good care of my babies and I couldn't be happier. I can't recommend her enough!!
Star took a lot of time in grooming my baby, instead of automatically wanting to shave him ! And I really appreciate that and was willing to tell me how keep him from becoming matted again! THANKS !
From out of town and desperately need grooming and bath. Called ahead and was able to get an appointment straight away. They did a great job and listened to my concerns as well as avoiding the previous mistakes from groomers. Will be back through here in April and will call again. More than satisfied. Thank you.
