Sensei Cummings is the only local place that teaches Karate to students himself!! This is not your typical franchise belt mill that hands out belts without out the proper training to support. I have researched them all and if you want the proper foundation for a martial journey then this is the place!!

My boys really enjoy class with Mr. Jamie. We've participated for 2 years or so now. During the pandemic Mr. Jamie did so much to keep the kids learning. He did zooms, Facebook lives, YouTube videos, etc. I love that he had a roundtable class with the kids every week just to talk. Now he has even started sessions for parents to talk since we can't come into the studio. Karate gives the kids a sense of discipline and also teaches them about respect. Mr. Jamie is always open to feedback or questions. He is a great role model for kids. I adopted my boys and they don't necessarily have a strong male in their lives on a daily basis. I just want to say that they know their stuff. They taught me a lot of things. They taught me to defend myself and they had a impact on my life. When Mike was still there he told me I had a lot of potential he was like a second father to me thank you Mike.
