Really fantastic service, great people and reasonable pricing! We needed service for our new home. When we arrived, it was late Friday night and it was 45° in the home. I did some calling around...
The first company I called, said they offered 24 hour service...but that was not accurate.
Then, I called Billings. I called their emergency line and a technician answered. He was courteous and friendly. He explained that he was not on call and that the technician on call just had a baby. He said that if the regular technician could not take care of me, he would take care of us himself.
I have used Billings for three years and found their techs to be highly competent and dependable. Recently, my unit was not blowing cool air. I contacted Billings and they were booked out two weeks. Therefore, I contacted Carolina Heating and Air in Roaring Gap. They sent two techs out to check my system and charge the refrigerant. After the house failed to cool, I called Billings and they sent a tech out. Turns out the other company techs didn't check the thermostat; and there was a grounded wire actuating the color air and heat strips. The billings tech fixed the problem in 10 minutes. Back in 2022, I had shopped around and received several different quotes for a full HVAC install. I almost went with a competitor that year because the competitor offered financing. Once I read the quote and payment terms from that competitor, I said there was absolutely no way I was paying that much. I decided I was going to wait it out and get the money together, some how, some way, to hire Billings. After two years, I contacted the wonderful, patient, kind office manager there and asked her if the guys could come back out and re-quote the install. It was only $1,000 more than it was two years ago, and still well over $3,000 less than any of the competition!! Let's... read full review
