Southport Dog

I can’t even begin to tell you the experience we had with Tommy. We have a totally different dog. I can’t wait to book obedience 102. Highly suggested 💙

What a great experience! Merle and I completed group obedience classes - money well spent! Tommy and Christina are fabulous. My goal was to achieve a pleasant, loose leash walk with Merle (which seemed impossible with my strong, enthusiastic 75 pound pulling dog) but we did it!! Not only are we enjoying walks around Southport, Merle follows basic commands like sit, stay, place, down, etc. Tommy and Christina equip you with the knowledge & equipment (the collar and shorter leash was a game changer for us) to succeed! You gotta do the homework though & put the time in with your dog.

Flora (our dog), my husband and I learned so much from the owner and his adult daughter. Besides their knowledge, awareness and care, the 3 of us came away with great tactics and a dog that can calmly walk with us among other things! Perhaps the key to their process is doing the obedience training with a couple of other dogs. Vaccines are mandated and the facility is very clean.

Cannot say enough good things about Southport Dog, Tommy, and Christina! It’s apparent that they truly love what they do and are committed to helping each dog be successful. I would recommend them over and over!

We can’t say enough good things about Tommy and Christina. They truly want to see you and your dog succeed and I appreciate the communication they provide to support the unique needs of our family. We’ve done obedience training classes and an agility workshop here and they are great with our “bursting with joy” dog. Oakley gives Southport Dog “five paws!”

We absolutely loved our time in class here! I can’t say enough good things about Christina and Belinda — they were truly amazing. After completing their Canine Confidence Class, both my dog and I feel so much more confident. I now feel better equipped to handle whatever comes our way, and it’s clear my dog does too. If you’re considering training for your pup, this is the place to go — you won’t be disappointed!

Best decision I have made as a new puppy owner was registering for the puppy classes at Southport Dog. Tommy and Christina are so knowledgeable and supportive. I was very nervous about this process but they reassured me and encouraged me throughout. I would highly recommend Southport Dog 🐶 🐾 💙

Great space for private play with my two dogs! Ive brought them here a few times so far and they have so much fun!
