My stepdad passed away in Florida, and we laid him to rest in Siler City, North Carolina. Our family gathered from near and far to say our goodbyes, and together we met with the funeral director.
I’ve lost many close loved ones over the years, but I have never experienced the kind of genuine care and compassion these men showed us. It wasn’t fake — you can’t fake that kind of kindness.
