Morganton Eye Physicians PA - Cleveland Eye Clinic & Eye Surgery Center is a helpful and friendly business with great customer service. The staff, including Dr. Blanton, Tessa, and Dr. Bridges, are outstanding, real, smart, kind, and thoughtful. They provide the best service and explain things so patients can understand. The entire experience, from initial visit to follow-up, is exceptional, with hospitality, patience, and genuine care. Cataract surgery was painless and results were excellent. However, some patients have had a horrible experience, as doctors kept canceling appointments and could not get patients in for 4 months, which is a sad business practice. Despite this, employees like Callie in Contacts are amazing. The business is a bit on the expensive side, but with VSP insurance, the portion is quite reasonable. They even replaced a frame for free when the earpiece became damaged.

Appointments are made far into the future. They are too busy for the size of the practice and they need to add more doctors. (Several doctors have or are about to retire.) Once you are at your appointment, the doctor (at least the one I saw) was knowledgeable and helpful, but he has since retired. I wear “hard” contact lenses and now there is nobody there who can prescribe them. I will have to find someone else.
Dr Blanton and Tessa are outstanding! Tessa is the best and so real and smart she made my visit the best and Dr Blanton gives the best service. Thank you both for making my appointment today a pure pleasure…..
