About Five Below
Five Below is a store offering a wide variety of cool things and many options for merch, with most items priced between $1 and $5. It carries trend-right products across categories like Style, Tech, Candy, and more, including some cute Kuromi and Invader Zim stuff. While some feel it is a little overhyped and that its products are pretty general and targeted towards young teens, many customers find it genuinely enjoyable for shopping. Experiences can vary by location. One store was noted to have some decent prices but needed to be stocked and cleaned up, with a back area that was a hazard due to disorganization. However, another location has gone through an incredible transformation, becoming spotless and well organized. The positive impact of leadership at that store is clear, with a team described as consistently friendly, upbeat, and ready to help. This made the store more inviting and one of a customer's favorite places to shop again. A common observation is that customers always end up spending more than they want to, and some joke the store should be renamed because not everything is below five dollars. Overall, it is a place filled with unlimited possibilities where customers can let go and have fun, even if some wish for specific items like band merch.
I love this store. The employee Amber she is about her business. My husband had made an earlier purchase, he forgot to take his receipt but needed to make a return. Thanks to Amber setting it to the side. He was able to get a no hassle refund. I thought that it was so smart and considerate of her to think of doing that. She says she holds them to the end of her shift.
Wide variety of cool things! I always end up spending more than I want to here BUT they need to rename the store to Above Five! Because only about 10% of their things are below five bucks. Lol
Store has some decent prices but needs to be stocked and cleaned up. The back area of the store was a hazard to customer because all the products were on rolling carts pushed beside each other and it made it hard to shop the back area. They have what looks like self checkout registers but an employee comes over to check out your items for you so I don't understand why they took out the regular register operations. I think once the store gets organized and stocked it will be more inviting.
