The Tax Ladies

Good experience. I received a letter from the IRS! A clerical error had been made on my 2023 taxes and I owed back taxes, a substantial penalty and substantial interest. The back taxes owed were legitimately mine, however I felt that I should not have to bear the burden of the penalty and interest since the clerical error was made by The Tax Ladies. I went to their office in Shallotte and showed them my letter from the IRS. After about 10 minutes of verifying the information they wrote me a check for the full penalty and interest amount. Honestly, I was expecting some 'push back'. I was extremely pleased with the way the situation was handled and immediately resolved. I will continue going to The Tax Ladies to have my income taxes prepared.

We had The Tax Ladies prepare our taxes for the first time this year and they were FANTASTIC. No appointment needed which I was concerned about, but we arrived on Sat., 1 Feb at 0900 and were sitting with our tax preparer, Kim, within minutes. She did a wonderful job and for that we thank her. The office was professional, courteous and efficient. We received our federal refund in less than a week from filing.
