This is currently the ONLY place to take Healthy Blue NC that is anywhere near me! I was so thankful to find them. The staff is so friendly and the op-tech was above and beyond in every way. Dr. Dickman is thorough and you can tell he knows his stuff, just don’t ask him for your pupillary distance. He went on a bit of a tirade when I mentioned it and continued even after I said, “okay, that’s fine. Okay” a few times. But it’s still worth going here because despite his less than stellar bedside manner, he knows what he’s doing and the rest of the people working there more than make up for it.

Best eye doctor and staff. I'd been going to the large local chains for my eyecare since there seems to be some kind of industry consolidation occurring. Dr. Dickman's office is a much more personal and knowledgeable experience. Dr. Dickman is a brilliant ophthalmologist and his staff will ensure that you are satisfied, even helping a picky person like me find rare frames. I prefer to have good relationships with my medical caregivers, and Dr. Dickman explains treatment options very well. I asked him a question on how lenses work and he lent me a book on optics. Great doctor, great office.

I'm 62 and throughout my lifetime I've had many surgeries on both eyes. I moved to this area a year ago and was very anxious with respect to finding a new opthalmologist. I was very pleased with Dr. Dickman and his staff. He definitely put me at ease with his knowledge & his compassion for my situation ??.
