I was certainly satisfied with their response time. I brought in a laptop early-ish Saturday afternoon, and had it back just a few hours later to replace the failed solid state disk drive. They installed a base Win 11 image. I discovered today that the base install included McAfee installation software. McAfee is insidious. This should not be in a clean base installation.

The guys at Sonic Device repair did a great job undoing my mistake. As you can see I had some solder fall into the pins and I asked them to clean this chip and its pins. They have great soldering skills and will use again. Thank you for the help.

I just walked out of Sonic Device Repair location in Raleigh and couldn't be happier. I have an older IPad, and it has been sluggish when searching and wonky about charging. The technician who helped me was very helpful and informative and determined that my charging issues were due to my cord and charger (both of which were inferior), and speed was due to the age of my device. I wouldnt hesitate to return!
