Meow House is amazing! They did a great job in helping me find the sweetest cat that fits perfectly with my lifestyle. I could not recommend it more highly. The cats live in loving foster homes before adoption and are very well-cared for.

Meow House is an excellent representation of all things great with our community. This sanctuary not only helps the animals that are at risk, they roll up their sleeves to address the needs of the pet owners as well.

Always love coming here for hiking on a day other than Sunday, knowing that, unlike the mountains to sea trail system at Falls Lake, I never have to worry about some lunatic with a gun trying to shoot an animal while I'm on a peaceful hike. Falls Lake trails are great on Sundays, when I know that no murderers will be out there trying to kill animals while I'm hiking since that's not allowed on those days.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, 100% volunteer, foster based rescue; which means all of our cats live in private homes, not a cage in a shelter. Every cat or kitten that we take in is fully vetted (spayed or neutered, vaccinated for Rabies & FVRCP, tested for FIV/FeLV and microchipped) before he/she is made available for adoption.
