“Just wanted to share on my experience here. I work in the same shopping center as this shop so I figured I’d go and get my beard trimmed. I’ve met Jeriah before while in the area and he did a great job at promoting the shop so i knew I had a great place to go. Just want to take a minute to express what a great job Jeriah did. He’s super friendly and a true artist. This is the most confident I’ve felt while rocking a beard. He definitely deserves some true recognition. I’ll always go to this shop to have it trimmed up because of him.“

“Tabou and her assistant did an amazing job on my knotless box braids!!! I was extremely nervous since this was my first time getting my hair braided but Tabou made it a comfortable experience.

She allowed me to bring my own synthetic hair since I wanted to complete an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse and shampoo on the hair to remove the alkaline lye coating.

She was transparent and upfront about pricing and the prices were reasonable.

She was flexible when it came to making sure that I choose a style and braid size were manageable for me as a first timer and that would compliment my face structure.

She even made sure to braid the synthetic hair to an appropriate length past my natural hair (which is mid-back length) so that when setting the synthetic hair with hot water, my natural hair wouldn't get burned.

I'm normally very "tender-headed" but when, Tabou and her assistant were braiding, I only experienced mild discomfort. At one point, I almost feel asleep because the environment was also peaceful with soft Nigerian music playing in the background!

I also really appreciated that before she used any product on my hair or scalp, she purposefully showed me each product and allowed me to take pictures and read the ingredients list (just in case I have allergies to any of the products used).

My favorite part about my visit...the results! My braids looked beautiful, neat, clean and professional. It also helped that there were two people working on my braids at once. Total time in the chair only lasted 4 hours and yes it was worth the wait!“

I have really thick 4C hair and have always been skeptical about trying blow dry bars. They often claim to do all hair types, but usually struggle with Black hair. I’m so happy to report that this was such a pleasant experience from the moment I walked through the doors.

Cara, my stylist, was FABULOUS — gentle and patient with my hair, asking about my needs and keeping me updated throughout the process. The result looked exactly like a silk press, for half the cost.
