One of the greatest practices in the area! Very understanding and thoughtful.

Everyone is kind and helpful in this office. We usually do not have to wait for our appointments and the nurse practitioners are very thorough. Elizabeth Williams is awesome!

Dr. Scott Wagner and Dr. Paul is very professional, patient and truly cares about my well being. They are truly sincere and transparent. They also both listed to your concerns.

Dr. Drechsler was the best! Professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He took the time to listen to all my concerns then explain his reasoning behind his recommended treatment. You can tell he cares deeply about his patients! Will definitely be going back to see him in the future.

I wish I could award this group 100000 stars! They have gone above and beyond to provide the best cate for our family. And special shout out to the Rx refill team. I truly can't thank them enough for the help they have provided, especially when we have been traveling/out of town.

I saw Dr. Drechsler at the Wakefield office. The front desk staff was warm and receptive. The paperwork was simple. I arrived 30 minutes prior to the appointment and after I completed the paperwork the nurse brought me back to do vitals. The nurse was friendly and efficient. My appointment was scheduled for 4pm and Dr. Drechsler walked into the appoinment room promptly at 4pm. Dr. Drechler was friendly, thorough, knowledgable, and took an appropriate and sufficient amount of time with me. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking to establish with a physician.

I would not recommend this practice after my recent experience with them. I was having to have additional test to rule out cancer and the radiologist office called my primary doctor at this practice to get verbal approval to go ahead and do a biopsy and this office would not approve it. They said they needed a report sent to them before they will approve it and I can’t make an appointment to go back to do a biopsy until that is done. I called them after leaving my appointment and was transferred to Debbie who was short, matter of fact and didn’t care at all that she was making a difficult situation even worse. I need a doctor’s office that will prioritize and expedite patient care when necessary and this office is not that unfortunately.

The staff at Capital Family Medicine are phenomenal! I recently transferred in for primary care and found everything from checkin to evaluation and follow-up to work great. They’re quick to get you back, doctors will spend ample time to review concerns, be receptive to personal wishes and will follow-up to review results. I was also able to get a same day appointment. They are located adjacent to a Labcorp facility so it’s also super convenient for blood draws.

Poor customer service. Office manager Tina is very rude. As a medical provider I would hate for her to run my office.

My colleague recommended this practice and I’m glad she did. They are prompt and professional. I see one the PA’s and I feel super comfortable addressing my concerns with her. She listens and has great bedside manner. I will certainly recommend this practice to anyone I know looking for a PCP!
