When I reached out to Paul from 1st Defense asking for a roof inspection and estimate, Mark got in touch and promptly scheduled a visit. We had a tricky situation in which we were trying to discern whether to simply repair a section of a 20-year-old roof or replace the whole thing. Mark personally inspected our roof and gave excellent advice that helped us make an informed decision. He was not pushy one way or another, and he quickly delivered a detailed estimate at a fair market price. Mark was polite, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to work with.

As we were having Custom Outdoor build a new deck, a leak in our porch roof was discovered. I was referred to 1st Defense by them and I was immediately impressed with Mark’s professionalism in his initial responses. He was rapid to get out to help resolve our leak and evaluate if there had been further damage or any reason to need a larger repair. He happily answered all of my amateur questions as someone inexperienced with roofing and planned a remediation that left me feeling confident our roof will last a bit longer until we’ll eventually need a new roof.
