Exemplary service. Low wait time. Staff was friendly and Kind. Very clean facility. I was called after my children’s first appointment to make sure everything went well. The staff really cares about you and your children. This feels like home.

DR Eddy Akers ,has a horrible attitude/personality very unprofessional , he talks over you ,don't listen to what you have to say, he questioning your parenting skills, when speaking to you he raises his voice at you if he don't like/feel like what you saying is the truth he don't care to listen to nothing you have to say ,instead of finding away to help your kids with iron levels to get high . My son is on ferrous sul for anemia for couple months to take 2 times a day,the medicine is not working hevery time we go back for dr appointment they saying he iron levels ain't moving, so instead of prescribing a new medicine, Eddy Akers start saying am not giving the medicine to my son ,telling me that am lying if I was giving it to my son he's levels should have moved ,I was trying to telling him i have been giving my son the medicine every day twice a day like how I told to do but he didn't wanna hear nothing he just keep talking over me not letting me speak ,instead of trying to help me find another way / medication that can help my son , DR Eddy said that he'll call CPS on me for child negligence ,because he feel like my kid is not taking his medicine

I should have ran after my first appointment here. I’m not sure how they are getting almost 5 stars here. 1. The PA tried to tell me how to parent. He seemed more interested in telling me how to discipline rather than any concern for my child. 2. When I told him she wasn’t sleeping through the night (mind you she was 9 months at the time and its very normal for babies to wake frequently at night) he told me to give her Tylenol to help her sleep better….???? WHAT? 3. At her second and last appointment, he diagnosed her with anemia even though that was her first test and she was 1 point away from it being ‘normal’. He did not offer another test, he didn’t tell us to come back to check it at a later time… nothing. 4. Staff is lazy and didn’t want to send me my child’s records via the portal or email. Kept telling me I needed to come in person to pick them up, after begging and pleading with them, they finally sent it through email. WIth those being the main issues, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

My kids have been coming here for years, and I never had an issue until my kid needed a referral. He had an upcoming surgery in the next 48 hours, and they all but refused to send a referral to the doctor performing the procedure. After his therapist sent his evaluations, they claimed they didn't receive it.
I had to drive 30 minutes there to hand them the records. On Monday, they called and said he would have to been seen. Let me remind you the procedure is on Wednesday. I sent in a progress note via email from the doctor performing the procedure saying it's necessary, I called later for an update and the lady says she never received it and hanged up on me they've all but flat out refused to give him a referral.
Why make it difficult for kids to get healthcare outside of your facility. Why won't your practice write referrals for procedures recommended by specialists?

Been going here for years absolutely love the pediatrician Mr. Eddie, but the office staff is unfriendly as hell and will hang up on you at the first convenience. They get don’t call with a question because they don’t know and like I said quick to hang up on you very unprofessional.!!!!!! You think if you had a sick kid, they would be kind and understanding absolutely not. If you enjoy your peace of mind and patience. Don’t call here with questions.!!!
