Ocean Isle Veterinary Hospital is highly recommended for its compassionate and knowledgeable staff. Many clients appreciate the quick response to emergencies, with same-day appointments for urgent cases. The veterinarians, including Dr. Fox, Dr. Ben, Dr. Anna, and Dr. Werle, are praised for their genuine care and understanding of pets' needs. The staff, like Savannah, are also noted for their kindness and helpfulness. The clinic is known for going above and beyond, such as providing medication options quickly and accommodating urgent visits. The clinic also helped a sick pet while traveling, putting her on a feeding program and ensuring she was playful and healthy again. Overall, Ocean Isle Veterinary Hospital offers a reassuring experience for pet owners, ensuring their furry family members receive the best care possible.
Visited this vet about a week ago for our Ziggy. I thought the staff was nice. Our wait was not long, and they placed us in a room right away making it easy on our old guy. They did not push for unncessary tests, etc., and were thoughtful. Only thing I regret is they do not sell Heartgaurd heartworm meds., so we got an RX, but have been unsuccesful so far in getting the RX filled.
Very knowledgeable, courteous and compassionate staff. Great experience and Mr. Mittens was a model patient.
Update: Sadly, our Mr. Mittens passed. The staff was super supportive and allowed us time alone with Mittens before he crossed the bridge.
Great veterinarian! I was able to schedule a new patient appointment for my cat no problem! We saw Dr. Yarbrough and she was so amazing! The staff is also great. I needed to make a change to a medication (who knew giving cats liquid meds isn’t just easy peasy) and they were able to have a pill form available for me to pick up that day. I felt like they went above and beyond for my cat!
