But their boss, Dominic deserves only 1 star! Because of him the job lasted months! It began in February 2024, and it’s June 2024 and they just finished the cleaning, did temp repairs, and has scrubbers running for another day and they will be finished and then the repair people can get started with the inspection then the insurance adjuster inspection and so forth again. Then finally the actual repairs can begin.
Jared accidentally cut the waterline to the washing machine so they have to send out a plumber, and I have no idea when that will be.
But there is no musty smell anymore! The mold was killed and scrubbed away! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel ( I’m so looking forward to using my closet after the repairs are done! It’s been since February.).
I showed Dominic the paperwork I got. It said that if they find more problems they need to submit the estimate by email. He insisted on talking with the adjuster ONLY to verify that insurance will pay for it. So we just waited and waited. I called for a meeting with Dominic and showed him the paperwork again. He is NOT a people person. He really didn’t care. Actually, I have no idea how he got this position. He’d be better suited in the accounting department. I almost didn’t hire the repairs department because of the delays Dominic caused. I was fed up with it. But it is a different department so I’ll give them a chance.“
