I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for Dr. Powell and his staff. He preformed a Frenotomy on my son this morning and he is already back to his spunky self. Dr. Powell came so highly recommended that I drove 2hrs and paid out of pocket for the procedure (we have out of state insurance). I assure you, I do not regret any of it. From my initial phone call to schedule the procedure all the way to check out was an amazing experience. He even worked us in on a full schedule today just so he would have more time to heal during Christmas break. Thank you to the scheduler that went the extra mile and asked Dr. Powell to work my son in (sorry I didn’t write down your name)! I hope your community is thankful to have you all in their area. Unfortunately we do not have many good healthcare providers in the area we live in, that’s why we drove 2hrs and paid out of pocket today. To give you an image of how bad the healthcare system is in our area, my son’s tongue tie has went undiagnosed for 8yrs. I’ve asked his primary care, dentist, orthodontist, 2 ENT’s, and 4 speech/eating therapist’s since he was 3yrs old (he’s now 11) if he has a tongue tie and they ALL said no. His tie was so severe that it has caused eating, speech, learning, sleep apnea, and lower jaw development issues. Most if not all of this could have been avoided if he could’ve gotten this procedure done at age 3. We are so thankful we can finally put this behind and look forward to seeing the progress made now that his tie is fixed.
I’m a new patient at OPSmiles and have been so impressed by them so far. They have had incredible communication with me throughout scheduling, my consultation, answering questions, explaining how to do everything related to my aligners, etc. They offer excellent payment options for people without insurance. I highly recommend them for adult orthodontic needs!
The office is perfect to keep your little one entertained, and the entire staff that we interacted with were top notch! We were seen right at our appointment time and didn’t have to wait long. He was very happy and didn’t want to leave by the end of his first visit. I was also given great tips and tricks to help with brushing habits for my toddler. 10/10 Recommend OP Smiles!
