I was sent to NHCI when a suspicious cyst was found during a CT scan for knee replacement. I was worried and scared as my family has a history of many cancers. They made me feel better immediately scheduling surgery within a week.
The surgery was done at medical park facility by Dr. BAKER and his team. They were all so knowledgeable and well trained, but more than that they listened about my issues with anesthesia making me very sick and accommodated my needs in every way.

The doctor and nurses/staff were all extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, kind, and professional. Having a difficult procedure is not fun, but having positive minded encouraging people surround me certainly made it easier. I truly appreciate Dr. Baker and his staff!!
I have the utmost gratitude for Novant Health. This will be my hospital of choice Everytime I need an emergency visit. From the receptionist upon arriving to the nursing staff and the P. A. The wait time in the waiting room was maybe 20 minutes until I was taken to an exam room. There the nursing staff were all great and informative. They did a lot of testing to rule out some possibilities of what else may have been going on. I was there about 4 hours all together and in the end the choice was mine to make wether I wanted to stay or go home. I opted to go home but should have stayed being the way I was treated after going home. With all the testing including scan, x-rays, ultra sound on both legs, & naturally blood work I don't think 4 hours was too long. Whereas if I had gone to YRMC I would have spent 4 hours in the waiting area and getting plenty of FLT(Fluorescent Light Therapy) before even getting called to an exam room. So this hospital is by far the greatest of the 2 and as afore mentioned my #1 place to go for emergency care. Thank You so much to all the staff for your care, compassion, and concern over my health issues. You are the greatest. I'm sure I will be seeing you again sometime in the future. Thank you for treating me as a human patient and not like a rat. Keep up the good work I'm impressed with your care and services.
