Super service! Mr Franklin was quick to respond. He changed several light fixtures, added outlets, upgraded multiple receptacles. I also was having trouble reaching the light and heater switches in my crawl space. He installed a convenient switch right beside the crawl space door. We hired Tom to do a major remodeling of my home in Linville Land Harbor. We liked his ideas and suggestions for the project right from the start. He did a very nice job with the design and provided detailed floor plans for each room. He did a wonderful job on the wood floors, wood ceiling, bathroom tile, installation of vanities, cabinets, sinks, etc. The job required knocking down walls, windows, replacing floor boards, rerouting plumbing and electric and what ever issues came up Tom and his crew were able to resolve. We were very happy with the end result. We found Tom to be very honest, hard working and conscientious. The only thing we were not completely happy about is the job took longer than expected and the cost was quite a bit higher than the original proposal but a few hidden surprises contributed to the delay and price increase. I would definitely use Tom and TAP homes again and highly recommend them to others.

Recently, Stines High-Country Insulation completed work at my home in Banner Elk. Michael promptly came out to meet with me and inspect my home. He developed strategies to address a unique insulation need for an area of my home. I was so pleased with the quality of work and outcome- Michael is now working on a second project to replace all of the insulation under my crawl, including a new vapor barrier. Prior to inspection- I was unaware of the poor condition and insufficient R-Value of the existing insulation. These two projects will quickly pay for themselves through reduced energy costs. We are also considering a final project to pressure wash and refinish a large outdoor deck that has peeling paint / stain. Michael is professional and he communicates frequently throughout the projects. Pricing is competitive & reasonable.

They were able to get me in quickly, within a few days. Location is easy to get to, parking is limited. Susie was fabulous and very efficient. I went in for a hair perm, thought it’d be hours, but I was in and out fairly quickly. Very friendly, makes you feel like you been going there for years, this was my 1st visit BUT will NOT be my last.

I highly recommend them for your car needs. They care about the customer not the bottom line. They will put you first and are very professional and knowledgeable. Had a problem with installing some struts on my Honda pilot. And a broke front axle. Needed my car in 7 days for a road trip, I couldn’t even find someone to look at it in that time frame let alone fix it. Even though they had no appointments available a mechanic came in on his day off to help us out. Antonio said he would do it. Once the car and parts where at the shop he got started at finishing the job. Not only did he get it done but he got it done with time to spare so we could get new tires before our trip. Antonio was very professional and showed me everything he did and the mistakes I had made. I will bring all my vehicles for repairs to this shop in Newland. 10 stars for going above and beyond to take care of a customer in need.
