In this sweet Southern town of New Bern, N.C. where everyone is polite and kind, the folks at Salem Smith Register and Knott are the best of the best. Professional with up to date knowledge they also make you feel as though you are part of the family. They take care of you. I feel safe and secure with Tony Salem and his great office.

Tony Salem has to be one of the most snide arrogant people I've ever paid for a service. Since we were new to the area we asked around and someone told use to try Salem and Associates. After three phone calls Tony finally met with me and reviewed our previous years taxes and said he would try to stay close to what our prior CPA charged. He spent quite a bit of time chit chatting and later said he had 1.5hrs in interview time that he didn't charge for. This man wants to charge you for setting foot in his door and all without ever speaking a word of what he will bill you for. He will never discuss rates so beware!
