The ladies at Milady's are remarkably talented! They are highly experienced master stylists who do beautiful, full service work in addition to being some of the very nicest people in New Bern. They are cutting edge and can do almost any service you could want (except extensions). Need a beautiful wig? Ask for Carolyn. She offers a hard to find full wig service, including discrete private appointments. Carolyn is incredibly caring and compassionate and has years of experience helping people regain and retain their beauty and dignity who are losing and/or have lost hair as a consequence of chemotherapy, alopecia or other means. Helping people who are experiencing hair loss continue to feel confident in how they look is a such a rare gift and an essential part of the healing process. I don't think it's overstating to say what Carolyn does for her clients is a form of ministry. Few salons in the area offer this type of service and it's right here in town at Milady's on Trent Road. All of the stylists cut ladies' and men's hair, including my husband's. His hair is unusually difficult to cut and style, and the owner, Ann, is the only person who has ever been able to master and tame it. She also does gorgeous hair for weddings. Her bridal work is elegant and exquisite and ensures everyone will look breathtaking in their photographs and videos. As the new owner, Ann has spent the last year tirelessly and totally remodeling the salon and it looks absolutely stunning. She's thoughtfully installed a nail salon next door (Amazing Nails by Joy, which I also highly recommend) so their clients now have the convenience of getting their services in one location without having to drive all over town. I highly recommend Milady's Hair Salon to anyone interested in looking their very best!
