We had the pleasure of visiting Silver Creek Golf Course today, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this is a truly special place in Burke County.

Came from Hickory to try it out as I heard good things about it. Course was well maintained with good fairways and greens. Greens were fast(imo) with alot of undulating but not overly hard. Views were great. I loved the book they give you to help you on your way around course. Will definitely be back.
This is a challenging golf course located near Morganton, NC in the Lake James area. While the course is not overly long, the elevation changes coupled with slippery greens create a challenging test of golf skills. This is not a course you will want to walk. The course offers beautiful views throughout the holes, well maintained greens, and reasonable fees. This course is well worth the visit, and I hope to make it back, as now I have a bit more course knowledge.
