Carteret County’s only full time Grandmaster & World Champion!!! Grandmaster Russell Lewis is a 8th Degree Black Belt in Korean Karate, Chung Do Kwan, & Taekwondo. He is a Certified Instructor, AAU Coach, & native of Carteret County who was born in Sea Level. He began martial arts at 8 years old with his grandfather, Melvin Styron "Junior", of Cedar Island. Mr. Styron studied Judo during WWII while in the US Navy. Grandmaster Lewis began teaching Martial Arts in Carteret County in 1990. Martial Arts is his passion and he strives to provide the highest quality martial arts instruction. Grandmaster Lewis holds also multiple National & World Championships titles. *Students pay monthly and we do not have a contract option.
