We’re live-aboard sailors passing through Beaufort. I needed a crown but couldn’t get to my regular dentist in Florida. Dr. Westbrook (recommended by Carol at Town Creek Marina) gave me an appointment on the day I asked for and was able to do the whole procedure in one visit. Usually a crown requires two visits—first the drilling and temporary crown, then maybe 10 days later, you get the permanent one. Dr. Westbrook has the necessary equipment in his office so he can make a crown while you wait. Everybody I met in the office was friendly and most pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Westbrook.
I called with a possible problem - in need of a dental exam before leaving the country for a few weeks. The Westbrook team was kind and helpful, setting me up with an appointment the next day.I had previously had a crown made and installed by Dr. Westbrook in a very satisfactory manner. On this occasion he was, as always, very professional. He made a careful examination of my "possible problem". Lucky for me, it turned out to be a matter of no concern. Not a small job crowning a cracked molar. I could not be more satisfied.After the numbness dissipated I experienced a new tooth that felt likeit belonged. Very comfortable and my jaw closes properly. Verygood experience.
