American Values Contracting, LLC (AVC) was outstanding! Carolyn, Joe & John answered all our questions with patience and provided good information. AVC built a fortified roof and replaced skylights on our home in Pine Knoll Shores. Their roofing crew showed up on time and completed the job in 2 and 1/2 days. We were able to remain in our house throughout the roofing construction. The cleanup was very good and we were provided 2 extra bundles of shingles to retain. We highly recommend AVC!

I am so glad I chose AVC as the vendor for my new roof! This company is reliable, professional and did an outstanding job installing my new roof and skylight. They are excellent communicators and quickly got back to me with any questions I had. Their initial estimate was right on track--no hidden surprises in the final invoice. They installed the entire roof in one day and when they left, they had cleaned up so well, it looked like they had never been there. Since the roof installation. we've had 2 big storms and the roof has held up perfectly--no issues at all. I am very satisfied with this company and will highly recommend them.

My home in Nags Head, NC (the Outer Banks) was built in 2006. In many storms part of the roofing shingles would fly off, and give I live in NJ it's often hard to get things done long distance. A bit hard to drive 9 hours to check on contracting work.I original roof was failing, and I tired of getting it patched when I wasn't there to see the finished work. I recently learned about the Fortified Roof Grant Program.
