Village Animal Hospital is an office with a caring and dedicated team. Dr. Stutesman and Dr. Ramos, along with the techs and office staff, are known for their attentiveness, love for animals, and memorable care. They provide a comfortable and private environment during difficult times, such as saying goodbye. The hospital has been praised for saving a pup's life and for their ongoing, detail-oriented care. The staff and vet made a difficult experience much more tolerable. Every staff member was very kind, gentle, non-judgmental, and empathic. The support offered was exactly what every animal parent needs. Dr. Ramos was excellent, exhausting all possible options and explaining the inevitable with compassion balanced with reason and logic. The office was immaculate and the staff was friendly.
I just started taking Jack to Dr. Stutesman a couple months ago and I unfortunately had to have him euthanized on Tuesday. Dr. Stutesman was absolutely amazing in performing such an incredibly difficult procedure. He took his time and stayed on the floor with Jack for several minutes until the procedure was over and Jack was at peace. I was an absolute wreck and they were all so understanding and compassionate. Thank you, Dr. Stutesman and Staff. ❤️
My boxer & I moved to Mooresville mid 2017. Gus was large even for a male boxer. He began his medical experience with Village Animal Hospital and was always eager to go visit! Honestly he would leave me sitting in waiting area and go with whichever tech came to get him. No fear; no barking or aggression of any kind; he just loved & trusted the staff. He took his last breath there on 9/02/2025 🥲. As his mother I will always be grateful for Village Animal Hospital!
My Roxie has been a patient with Village Animal Hospital since she was a 9lb. rescue puppy 13 years ago.
