I hope to offer hope for people with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) (Pulmonary Fibrosis), a serious progressive disease which causes hardening of lung tissue. I was diagnosed by a pulmonologist in September 2025 with moderate ILD. There is no cure. Although medicine may slow or sometimes halt the progression, of the 2 medicines available both carry a substantial risk of debilitating side effects similar to chemotherapy. Last night was one of those nights…the kind every mom dreads.
