We needed quick care for our dog who was in a fight with a groundhog!! Our vet for years, Harbor Point, wanted me to email a picture because they were booked up!!!!!
Lakewood took us in the same day and treated our pooch. Needless to say, we will stick with Lakewood. The staff is professional, friendly and most of all really caring. Oh, AND their prices are not through the roof like our previous vet!

Dr. Ann Prior is wonderful. She’s kind, patient with my reactive dog, and always treats her with gentleness and respect. She doesn’t push anything that you’re not comfortable with and always asks for your thoughts on the recommended treatment. She takes the time to explain the benefits vs the risks with any treatment options and is open to questions along the way.
All of the vet techs and front desk staff are also very kind and accommodating.

I have been coming here since 2017, and I will not bring my three dogs anywhere else. My oldest lab, who is grump and stuck in his ways, will only see Dr. Lengemann, because he is patient and caring with him. I also love the fact that Dr. Lengemann will describe everything to my husband and I, and will not talk down to us or make us feel like bad pet owners. He is patient with us, and the dogs, and really understands their needed. The staff there has always been fantastic, and always willing to help however needed.
