If you're looking for the guidance and instruction of a personal trainer, Katie's Sweat Shop is where you should be! Katie is extremely knowledgeable across the spectrum of health and fitness. I am very impressed with her adaptability across all fitness levels. She is motivating, educating, communicative and results driven. Not only will you continually get a great work out from her in your session, but she is also proficient about diet and nutrition and encourages good practices outside of the gym. I highly recommend partnering with and setting your goals together with Katie no matter your current level of fitness.
I use Katie's Sweat Shop for both group fitness and personal training. For the group fitness, I attend do the yoga class. The class is great - it's an hour long and really hits what I want from a yoga class. The teacher always adds in plenty of modifications if you want/need more of less in your practice. It's low-key and totally unpretentious. And it's a great bargain! As for personal training, this is amazing. Katie is super flexible with scheduling. After establishing goals, you get to work! The group exercise class is a fun variety of work-outs targeting both upper and lower body and core. I love that we use different types of equipment such as weights, weighted bars, balls (both large and small) and resistance bands, so we can work harder and be challenged. Katie provides modifications for all types of moves in order to accommodate different levels of strength and stability. This class is the BEST!
