My father has been laid to rest here since 1995, and I'm so happy my mother chose this cemetery. They keep the lawn cut and also help keep dirt and trash off his headstone. We've brought things to sit in his headstone and they've never been messed with.
While people are walking on the hiking trails at city parks, they're missing out on the opportunity to walk on the paved paths here at Glenwood. Yes, it's a cemetery but it's quiet and it's peaceful and there's really no one here. The grounds are well-kept and litter free. Glenwood is operated by the City of Mooresville. it is available to those who live in the city limits and those who do not. There is also a scatter garden for those who wish to scatter cremated remains. Of course, it is an active cemetery with families laying their beloved to rest so please be respectful.
