“If I could give this vet 100 stars I would. We've have been taking our dogs here for years. They are always so kind and take the time to carefully explain things to us. Dr. Sokoloff always sits on the floor with our dogs during our visits. She seems to really know everything about our dogs (not just their medical info but all the random facts and quirks we have told her about) and she truly cares. Everyone from the front desk staff to the assistants are compassionate and kind. Their prices are slightly above other vets in the area but they are worth every. single. penny. They have helped us with many health issues, both big and small, over the years, they never try to pressure us into doing unnecessary medical procedures, and they are always easy to get ahold of.
This week, our dog suddenly and out of nowhere collapsed. We were able to rush him in and they did everything they could to save him. Unfortunately, he passed. Everyone at Sycamore Animal Clinic helped us navigate this unexpected loss. Dr. Sokoloff helped us understand what happened in a compassionate yet clear way. And Amanda thoroughly explained all our options for what to do with our baby. When a third party messed up the transportation of our dog, Amanda called and advocated for us. When we came into the vet to get him, everyone at the front knew who we were and why we were there. They were all so kind and apologized for our loss. To everyone who works here - thank you.
There are so many kind things I could say about the people here but this review would be way to long. Just know that your pets are in such good hands here. Our other two dogs will continue to go here for as long as they are around and we highly reccomend them to everyone.”
