Hi! I'd like to share my experience with DLV Roofing. First I'd like to say I am a Disabled Veteran and had struggles with this whole process for multiple reasons. I had a leaking skylight that was literally raining on my head, plus my roof was in need of repair due to the screws installed on my roof being the wrong ones and they were backing out of the holes causing water to get through. I had called multiple Roofers in the area and had 3 companies come out to take a look and give me an estimate including DLV. I never heard back from the first two companies. When I heard from the representative that originally came out from DLV he told me he was leaving the company and asked if I would like for him to supply an estimate for him to do the work himself. I said No, and that I didn't feel he was being ethical by stealing customers from his company that he was leaving. I left it at that and resorted to signing up for Lowes to come out and give an estimate. I had so much anxiety surrounding this issue and the fact that I felt like I couldn't get it resolved was really affecting myself and my son. I have C-PTSD and GAD. I was a mess. Lowes called me to let me know that they couldn't do just the skylight; it would have to be the whole roof at the same time. I couldn't afford both at the same time. I had saved money for the skylight and was saving for the roof. I asked the gentleman at Lowes who he would recommend in the area, he responded with DLV Roofing. I then let him know what my experience had been so far with them and suggested I give them a call and let them know what had happened. I decided to at least let them know what happened. I called and spoke to the Office staff and asked if I could get an estimate just for the skylight since the previous employee didn't supply one. Not only did they get the estimate but the owner himself called me back to talk about what happened and what I needed done. From that point forward I cannot stress enough how wonderful this company is. From the moment I called back until the completion of my project I was treated like family. I was treated with respect, understanding, and a level of kindness that literally changed my outlook on a lot of things. I had never been exposed to this level of care, attention and compassion. I will ALWAYS recommend everyone there at DLV. I will NEVER forget what the people that work there taught me about the human spirit, loving your neighbor, and strength in community.
I will ALWAYS call DLV for my roofing needs! This is the second time I have used their services- the first was at my prior house where they prepared a repair quote for us to give to the new buyers, and this time was a full roof replacement at my current home. Every time I have interacted with them they have been kind, patient, and happy to serve me. This includes the person answering the phone at the office to the people on my roof. During the new roof installation, they were on time, did a fabulous job, and were extremely clean. They picked up every single little piece of roofing paper and other debris from the yard before they left at the end of the day. They are communicative with scheduling changes due to weather, and always asked if the new day worked for me. Their fees are competitive, too! I highly recommend hiring them for all of your roofing needs!
