Our Misu girl received so much love while she was here over the holidays! From the beginning when we first met Crystal and Ms. Doreen, we could tell they were real cat ladies. We just moved into Durham a few months ago and didn’t realize most owners had their cats reserved 3-4 months in advance before the holidays for the usual tall rooms. My husband and I were desperate due to flight plans (& we wanted a cat only kennel) and they squeezed our 9 month kitten into their lobby 1 month before. We left our three kittens for a week with The Laid Back Cat and they were taken such great care of!! We were nervous trying to find a nice big kennel for them to share and this was absolutely perfect! All of the kennels are clean and I know the staff treated them like family! We live about an hour from here and it was 10000% worth the drive! Thank you so much!!!!

I absolutely love this place! It’s so cute and cozy for the kitties and staff do their absolute best to make each kitty feel at home! They are very informative about pet care, on top of things, and always willing to update me while I was away. I would highly recommend this place for anybody looking for great care of their kitty
