For years with mediocre cuts I had been looking for a place to get my hair cuts with a consistent schedule and stylist . Thankfully I ran into one owner out and they told me about Kyndal , she’s done a great job and I couldnt be happier to be on her schedule . You can’t go wrong at Biz-Mari

As a new client I was really disappointed in the timeliness and treatment of my appointment time. I've been to several salons in the past where the stylist will call or text as a courtesy if they are running behind schedule. This allows the customer to plan accordingly. This was not the case at Biz-Mari, and I don't want to call out the individual stylist as I don't think that's fair -- but as an establishment there should be some policy or procedure in place when a stylist is running behind.
I had an 11AM appointment that I arrived to 10 mins prior. I was not seen until 11:30! When I first arrived, no one greeted me. If that's not the salon's style, fine. But when I got someone's attention so i could "check-in," they said they would let my stylist know. I happened to notice my stylist was nearby and she was still cutting hair for her current client. They took their time, had small talk, blow dried and styled the woman's hair. I would've left 15 minutes after my appt time had I not really needed a cut done before a weekend event and had already looked at every other salon nearby and found no availability before the event. I had also already taken time out of my work day. I was really disappointed in the service and the treatment. The stylist didn't even acknowledge or apologize for being 30 mins late once she did finally see me.
If being late is part of the norm at this establishment, maybe all the regulars are aware and accept it. But it's ironic that if a customer was late there would not be the same understanding exercised. I'll be looking for a new salon home, but I wanted to share my experience for the other moms and full-time workers who can't afford to be seen 30 minutes late for a scheduled appt.
