My placement coordinator as a foster parent with Thompson has been excellent. Stephanie B. Is always responsive and helps me find every available resource for these kids. She bent over backwards to make sure I knew about different outdoor camps and art classes available as well as advocating for me and for the child’s best interests. I know there’s a lot of bad reviews on here which is mainly from family members that have been torn apart due to if few bad decisions, foster parenting, and the foster care system is not perfect, but there is currently no other solution.

I have been a foster parent with Thompson’s for 5 years. It has been a very good experience. The support given has been great. Everyone I have been in contact with has been helpful and supportive.

Up until today I worked @ Thompson for 14 months and was told that I violated policy because I took 5 of the 6 boy swimming in the van where the other staff met me there but because one of the boys AWOL I was told that I put them in harms way there have been many days when the cottages has been in violation for not proper staffing but I don't see supervisor or directors being firedi this was personal because cherish was upset due to me asking about a bonus that I did not receive so if you don't agree with the director then she'll find a way to firer you
