I had a 2 PM appointment, but Mrs. Ana the stylist asked me to come at 3 because her morning client took longer than expected, When I arrived, a different client was in her chair. I wish she had just told me to come at 4 — that would’ve given her time to finish and eat before starting my hair. When the person left, she didn’t apologize for the inconvenience or anything just said my first client was late for her appointment so that sent me back. I brushed it off. I enjoyed my time for the most part with Mrs Ana, so I was really confused at the ending of service.
During my appointment after like her second row of braids, she stopped to eat, said she was starving, understandable people get hungry, but she could’ve done this before I came, specially, since she moved my appointment up an hour and then I had to wait an additional 35 minutes after the time was switched, she then came and ate a banana while braiding my hair, touching the banana and then touching my hair. She then rushed through my braids. She was also on her phone 75% of the time, And had the same music playing over and over and over again when I asked what it was, she said it was the Quran a Muslim Bible, she didn’t ask me if I wanted to watch a show or if I had any music I wanted to listen to. When she was done, I noticed fuzz and loose strands already sticking out — something that usually doesn’t happen until 2–3 weeks in. When I got home Even my stepdad, who’s Haitian and familiar with braided styles, said it looked like my hair had been in for weeks. I’ve been getting my hair braided for 30 years and never had this happen.
When I politely asked when I could return to get it fixed, she ignored me, and then told me that’s the way my hair is cut🤦🏽♀️🙄 she started to mop the floor around me and kept mopping a big, huge water bug all around the whole shop . She then had her next client sit in the chair and when I kept trying to show her my hair and ask when I could come back, she kept ignoring me. then said, I don’t want to argue. What do you want to do? and I said when can I come back and get this fixed ? and she ignored me and then said. She didn’t listen to my concerns or even look at the pictures of the hair that I wanted I feel she was overworked and too tired, she There’s the door instead of apologizing to me and telling me, I can come back a different day to get it fixed. Very unprofessional experience. I pray nothing but the best for her family and I hope her daughters get the scholarship to France. They’re looking to get. She told me that she works three weeks straight and then takes a week off. That’s not healthy to do for your mental or physical. I pray she can get some rest and learn how to communicate.

Mrs Anna is one of the sweeties ladies I’ve ever went to since I've been going to the Africans. She doesn’t have a bad attitude, don’t yank your head around, not on the phone the whole time just unbelievable. When I walked in her shop she made me feel so welcome I got nervous. When I tell you she’s a go to for your braids I meant just that if I could give her a 10 star rating I would keep allowing GOD to bless you with that beautiful and caring spirit because she truly care about her client not just they money

I went to Cissie African braiding and they did my micro braids in 4 hours and they where very polite. They let me watch them do my hair and they made sure I was pleased the entire time. I'm very pleased, check them out!

I’ve been to cisse a few times since under New Ownership and I’m a tell you they are the BEST!!!! They do a Wonderful job and get you in and out, when I tell you they team up and do you Right ?They the Bomb !!!! ? And to mention they don’t just braid your hair they take their time on your Natural Hair before they even start , and they are some of the Nicest women you could ever Meet and the prices are the BEST!!!! For the work they do …. The Owner braid sooooo fast it’s amazing !!! Trust me that’s the place to Go !!!!!! Why ride to Fayetteville? When the best is right here in LUMBERTON!!!!!! O last but Not least the Shop is so Comfortable and they make u feel like you knew them for years !!!!! ?
