Our normal vet is usually very busy, and our dog can never been seen there unless we book an appointment 2-3 weeks in advance. So when my dog ended up getting an infected hot spot as a puppy, we decided to come to the vet here and have kept coming back here ever since.
They greet my dog by name every time we've come here. They've helped us with her skin issues, her allergies and helping her stay up to date on all her shots.
My dog has never freaked out here and they always handle her with care. They're all honestly the best people that work there.“

“We have been here a few times before, but today we had to come back with one of our goats. Tristen was absolutely amazing through the entire process, and so compassionate and gentle with all of us. We knew mom wasn’t going to make it, but Tristen saved her two beautiful, healthy baby girls! I could not recommend her enough as a vet if you have livestock in the Lexington, NC area. She’s young a young vet, but she is truly wonderful and knowledgeable. 5/5 stars for sure.

“There is not a better vet around than Dr. Schmunk and Dr. Downs. There isn't a more caring tech and assistant staff tha the ones here. I've been going here for almost 20 years. The pricing is beyond fair and the care is premium. You won't find a more competent staff or higher quality care anywhere. Vets offices like this one are extremely hard to find. I can trust my animals will get the best care here and no stone will be left unturned for diagnosis and treatment. Every surgery has been flawless. Every hospitalization has come with above and beyond care and consideration. There's something to be said for the peace of mind you have when you have doctors and care teams ready to help your furry family like the ones found here.“

“Excellent Veterinarian! He has great wisdom science and natural God given wisdom! Great patience and spends time with you. A diligent veterinarian. He is also training his staff I’m sure to take over or be in the office as Dr. Maybe one day. I left with wisdom and I now can help others if they have questions with their pets in the same area as I had with mine. Very Thankful! We need more people in our world like this! The staff was very kind ! A+ even when they were super, super busy. They were exceptional also!“
