Mr. Tim inspected a new construction home I'm in the process of purchasing. He was very thorough in his inspection and caught small things that would easily be overlooked by someone who isn't a professional. He tested EVERYTHING and provided me with an on site breakdown of the many things to ensure were address before closing. He also gave me solid advice about things that I could do to ensure the home stays in good shape for years to come. Very efficent and detailed inspector.

I have never submitted a negative google review but I am compelled to warn others. Family First was recommended by our realtor. We were out of state so we accepted her recommendation without hesitation. Tim spent significant time with us over the phone after the home inspection to review his assessment. He gave us the appearance and reassurance that he had been as thorough as possible. Unfortunately, he missed a major code violation in the kitchen that should have been easily detected. It has resulted in over $5000 of expenses that should have been covered by the previous owner who had allowed for an obvious violation. Every gas & electric service person including a plumber and appliance vendor were shocked and horrified to see the ventilation issue and in disbelief that any certified inspector did not red flag the issue immediately. One vendor even went so far as to suggest I could sue the inspector for such negligence, at minimum have his certification questioned. I regret that we used him and don’t relish in leaving a bad review for a small business owner , but it is only to alert others.

Tim is the absolute best. He provided an extremely thorough inspection of our home and was very honest with us about everything. A month after moving in, our AC system stopped working, I randomly called Tim on a Saturday night and he responded immediately and walked us through the process to fix what was wrong.
