Just spoke with Alexis Kelly of their billing department. I was charged $225/hour for work by a CPA (not a partner) at this firm PLUS an additional 17% for "administrative processing." It was a business return with only two months of data in 2023, for which I provided a spreadsheet. [The partnership was dissolved.] The CPA told me, "2 months vs 12 months makes no difference in the actual tax preparation."
I called and left a message requesting an appointment with the lady answering the phone three times over the period of a couple months. I was assured the third time I would get a call back, but I did not. I guess they do not need or want new clients.
I have worked with this firm and found them to be helpful, knowledgeable and a great resource. They are fair and reasonable when it comes to billing and offer suggestions on ways to become more profitable and efficient.
