We have had McGee and Sons, The Gentleman Plumbers do a number of jobs over the years and they always do a great job. Our most recent job was replacing the water heaters in our condo at Southern Shores. It wasn't an easy job since they had to take out a wall to remove the old water heaters. Luke and Landon started first thing in the morning and were finished by 4PM. They were both incredibly friendly, professional and and thorough. Landon had to return the following day to sand the sheetrock and he did a great job. We have never had anything but a great experience with McGee and Sons, The Gentleman Plumbers including Shannon who is always courteous and helpful when we call.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Top notch service, dependable, trustworthy, responsive and reasonably priced! Family owned, they have been on the beach for 25+ years. I tried to do a dyi toilet flange and toilet replacement however I ran I to a snag when I found that another company had installed my flange bolts in the wrong direction. I called on the weekend and they actually answered the phone! I called back on Monday because my issue was not emergency to me. Shana got me scheduled the same day! Two squared away young men showed up at the house and got me squared away. They kept me informed on what they planned to do and even provided pictures of before and after. Their billing portal is awesome and so convenient. I had an issue where I was smelling a smell after the job was done and contacted them. The owner took time out of his busy day to call me and give me reassurance that they would take care of me. They immediately set me up with an appointment time that suited my work schedule to come recheck. Come to find out that the strong smell was due to me using the toilet brush frequently when the old toilet flange was failing. There was a mixture of bleach and water mix that sat at the bottom of the brush cleaning holder sleeve, causing the strong odor. I would highly recommend this company to anyone on the OBX that needs a dependable trustworthy plumber! Thank you so much!
I had a water heater leaking one evening and spoke with Mike who was very nice. Even though they could not come out right away, Mike was helpful with instructions of what to do until the next morning. Matt and Luke came the next day and had the water heater installed in no time! They were very skilled and polite. I would definitely use their services again.
