On 27 Sept 2024 my Honda Odyssey would not start and I was towed to Uhl's garage, a family run business. The owner Skip came out and did a quick assessment saying that there was no compression and that the timing belt likely broke causing severe engine damage. They were willing to dig in and verify the damage but I asked them if I could keep my vehicle there until I could get a truck to tow it back up to northern Virginia. They kindly kept my vehicle until 9 Oct 2024 when I was finally able to pick it up. They even helped me load the vehicle onto the tow dolly. I expected to be charged for an hour or two of labor and possibly storage fees but they said no charge. I even offered to give them some gratis money which they refused. These folks are the friendliest, honest and most generous repair shop I have ever worked with. If you happen to break down while at OBX, this is the shop you want to work on your vehicle. Roof Monkeys was fantastic! Super responsive, answered every question and were there when they said they would be there. Their estimate was more detailed and through than any other, by far. Other than an amazing new roof, you would never know they had been there. Everything in its place and not a spec of debris to be found. I would highly recommend!
Kyle is fantastic, exactly what a pet owner who wishes to have a respectful and obedient dog needs. He trains people as much as their dog and that's whybit works so well.
